I saw in one of my answers that some exercise or overdoing it will stunt your growth. So exactly what exercise stunts your growth..? I'm 16 and I am thinking about going to gyms but trying to avoid some machines that will stunt my growth.

exercise doesnt, doing free weights does. Exercise will help you be healthy and thus grow..just stay out of the weights room till you are fully grown (in fact dont ever go there its never really good)

It has been determined that regular extreme strengthening exercise such as that done by bodybuilders and wrestlers can often stunt growth. The likelihood is greatest in the teen years.
