Hi everyone..i am asian and 14 years old. I always wear long sleeves or a hoodie because my arm hair is REALLY dark and noticeable. I have tried shaving, but the stubble was really coarse and after a while it grew back even thicker!! what should i do? I have considered waxing..any body care to give a teenager some advice before i try anything? thanks in advance :)

oh, and also, i was also thinking about bleaching, but my arms are tanned, but not really dark. i was wondering how blonde the bleached hair will turn out? i don't want it to be too noticeable..

i don't undestand why people can't just leave their hair alone...
i have hair on my arms and it has never even occurred to me to take it off. why should I bother?

Hi there,
I started waxing my arms when I was your age and go so addicted to the waxing that I have become a Beauty Therapist.
If you start waxing now your hair will gradually thin down and you will have hardly any when you are my age (21). It's probably best to go to a salon and have them done, then have them re done about every 4 - 6 weeks.
** Also you will love the feeling of them once they are done-- they feel so silky and smooth!! Just remember to keep exfoliating and moisturising once you have had them done.

first don't shave them again... next time you try think that they are going to come back 10 times more.
you could bleach, but it'll look bad with it being on top of dark skin.
i am hoping your mom is open to you wanting to fix this... but get her to take you to a salon that specializes in waxing arms..... don't buy an at home kit. and do that... then save money and in a couple years get electrolisis.
my asian friend gets hers waxed. it looks fabulous.

Asian or no Asian, most girls get these hair, so don't worry and dont shave them again, you are allowing them to grow permanently, just Wax them once in 3 months, use HOT WAX its less or no painful and please dont worry too much on this as its a natural phenomenon ! OK?

if you want to remove the hair definatly wax them. I waxed my arms when i was about 10 (now 13). i dont wax them anymore but when i did i remember loving how much i loved the feeling (afterward). after waxing (and washing your arms) make sure that you put lotion (to make the skin soft)

My sister always waxes hers. She has extremely dark hairs on her arms, and she does it herself. However, I would rather go to the salon and have it done.

Best to accept that Asian girls -- at least from the Indian sub-continent -- normally have a moustache, sideburns and hairy arms.

bleach your arm hair. then it will be the same color as your skin thus less noticeable.
