If God loves everything he makes, then he loves, I don't know, some animal on the endangered species list. Let's say Polar Bears.
Is God just going to let the bears die? He hasn't done anything about it yet...when is he going to step up and re-freeze their enviorment?
Oh wait, that would cut into science. If you refreeze the melted part of the North Pole, wouldn't sea levels decrease at a dramatic rate? That would effect more species in the sea. Wait, can't God just protect everyone? Oh wait, he can't. Because if he could, wouldn't the Wooly Mammoths still be here? They'd live in peace with us because God would want them to, wouldn't they?
Please explain.

The tooth fairy killed the wooly mammoths, but lets get to more current issues. Big Foot actually has the copyright on polar bears so the whole endangered polar bear issue is all tied up in legal/custody battles between the Big F and G-dog.

Sounds like you've had a healthy dose of brainwashing, my friend. The polar bears are okay...watch a few years and you'll see that nothing is really changing anymore than what happens periodically.
On the other hand, you seem to want logical answers from a being that is so far above our human logic? Ain't gonna happen, my friend. His reasons for anything are so far above our understanding...don't even bother trying to understand.
In the meantime, don't be taken in by all the crud out there that you hear. Look at all sides of a situation before you conclude that the worst has happened. I'd be more worried about the next time we get bombed by Al Queda - that's reality because it has happened!

I beleive when God created all of the living organisms on the planet, he did not just put an exact adequate number on the planet to sustain it, but He also put an abundance of "surplus" species just to show how much of a variety there could be and the magnitude of his power to create. I beleive that many more species can become extinct once they have served their purpose. It is not that God does not care for certain species, it is just that they have served their purpose and were never truly vital to the ecosytem to begin with. Maybe their species has been replaced in energy with the extra energy that humans are now using?

How do you know it's not God's will to let mankind suffer from it's consequences of being selfish and greedy?
We don't know God's will, and we can't even debate God's true nature. No one knows.
I'm one to believe that God isn't "letting" the bears die. Personally I think this is the natural course of the earth, and unfortunately it was mankind that caused so many endangered animals.

Personally, I haven't seen scientific evidence of God doing anything. Most people interpret people doing the work of God. So, if you believe in God, then you're the one who has to make a difference. If you don't believe in God, then you're still the one who has to make a difference. That's assuming you care.
Did you hear the joke about the guy stuck in the quicksand who prayed for God to save him? Anyway, three people stopped to help and he refused, saying that God would save him. He gets to heaven and asks God why he didn't save him. God says I sent three people.
Either way, it's up to you.

God is the cause of mayor exstinction of Animals and the wholesale destruction of nature
Animals have no soul
animals are created inferior +
Animals have no feelings
Nature is godsgift to Man to hunt and destroy into oblivion as they like
Go civilize the wilderness and replace it with farming
Devils come from the wilderness,In Mexico people have burned forrest becouse witches were living in the trees.
etc almost all organized religions disrespect Nature
and its treasures are gratis to be plundered
Christian land owners regard properties that are millions of years old ,as their own to be done with as they please
native cultures regard them selves as guardians ,that only very briefly inhabit a place in its lifetime
In Pagan cultures one has to pay for the gifts of Nature
animals are brothers ,to many people even trees or plants are ,Indions ask the gods for permision to hunt or catch fish
in my world travels ,the greatest disrespect for the flora and fauna in general was in Christian and Muslim countries.
even today amongst Mexican Natives there is a wide spread knowlege and respect ,for animals and Natural Medicenes
where there was god ,Always there was Man to carry out his wishes or live according to his views

God put US in charge of animals to do what we want with them. Stop acting like God is a human that acts like a child with decisions or just not caring. He only cares about us and put us in charge of His creation. If you are concerned about the bears, do what the gays did to preserve their lifestyle... start a revolution and don't take "no" for an answer if you care so much.

According to scriptures, the world will eventually be destroyed and remade. If that proves true, all the current animals will die, anyway. Of course, all the species may also be made anew...

Based upon the simple fact that God either doesn't exist or has very little influence here in the universe. I'd say it's very likely he's doing nothing much.

according to the bible, god sent a flood because he wanted to kill every single living thing on earth, except whatever noah saved. doesn't sound like god would lose too much sleep over the polar bears dying out.
