I know when I was younger, my mom braided my hair every night before I went to sleep and my hair grew super fast, so I would say yes.

It depends on how healthy hair is. If it is not, it will definitely break off. I keep my hair healthy by taking 2 tbls. of apple cider vinegar in an 8 oz glass of water. Has over 93 vitamins and minerals. Makes nails grow too. Cures acne, high blood pressure, any ill known to man. Read the websites. Curbs appetite. Take ACV 2 times a day. Or if dieting, whenever you feel hungry,.

No, actually it's about the worst thing you can do to your hair if you want it to grow. everytime you braid it you are breaking the ends.

Hair is dead tissue. Nothing you do to it from the outside makes it healthier or stronger, or grow faster. All you can do from the outside is stress it or 'patch it'.
