Maybe you should go to a therapist so you can talk it out and see if they get over your fear.

There are probably two reasons for your re-curring fear: A. You never got over it. You just simply made yourself believe you did, but a part of you always doubted it. Or B. There is an underlying reason for the return of your fear. Perhaps it's the fact that you are 18 and are now independent. When you were 12, your parents could pay for treatment, but now that you are on your own (or are at least at the appropriate age) you have to pay for the treatment. Or perhaps a relative or friend has recently died. If in fact your fear did re-surface there must be some reason for it. There is no real way to stop the fear unfortunately. You're right though. Everyone has his/her time and when it's up that's it. The best thing you can do, is live the life you've dreamed of living. Say to yourself "Hey I'm not going to be here long. I think I'll go ask that person out." Be audacious. Do the things you'd never do before. That's the only way to satisfy. Everyone has a fear of death. It's totally normal.

Look at it this way: Death is a beginner of the end.
We all fear the unknown, and since we know little about what happen to us after we die, we fear it.
This is natural. Everyone has this fear. It's just that if it bother you enough for you to post this question, then perhaps you need to read the bible or attend church, because the devil is playing with your mind. I find that most people who come to learn and love Jesus do not fear death.
Talk to a counselor too.
Good luck and God bless.

It is just another thing in life you need to accept and deal with. You will have lots of encounters with it and finally have it happen to you. Cherish life every day . You don't know if it will be the last day for you or someone you love use the day wisly have fun be a great person. Be good to those you care about. That way when they die you can have great memories of the times you had with them .Then when you die they can have meories of you. One day have some children that way part of you will survive past your death. It takes time though of course . Make every day count ! Think more about life and being alive. This is a blessing to live.

Have you been thinking about a lost loved one? Have you been thinking about what happens to you once you die? I think about this, and find myself fearing death, too. But we all know it will happen one day, so we all have to deal with it. Think about it this way when you have a moment that you are really scared... That you have lots of years left. You are 18 years old! You have not lived life yet...

Personally, I fear death too. Not for myself, but the thought that I may not be able to see my son grow up and be without me. But, I have to remind myself that we ALL have to go through it. We have no choice in the matter and it's out of our control. All we can do is lead the best life we no how. So, when we do die, at least we won't have any regrets before we do.

Death is a part of our lives, it's inevitable and yes, scary.
But I refuse to believe that we just blink into nothingness
when we die. The complexities of the universe, matter, energy,
balance of this against that. It's too "organized" to just happen.
Perhaps you need to start on a spiritual journey to help you
over your fear of death.

Death is something to never fear. It is the way of things. Life is only the beginning, and death is the next step to something greater.

I had this fear until I was 40. You know what cured it? Starting to eat healthy and exercise. Once I did that, the fear went away. I never realized my fear could so easily be eliminated with a lifestyle change.
Here's my suggestion... Live your healthiest life and I'll bet you'll start to forget about that fear.
