a high school or a ged diploma to become a certified nursing assistant

some people say it depend on where you go for it and who is in charge

im also going for my ged would i have to wait till after i get it or could i start it now

The best bet is to think YES! You're going to need to get that GED to get the classes to be certified. Most schools won't touch you with a 10 foot pole if they know you haven't graduated.

Would you want someone who didn't graduate HS working as a nursing assistant? No.

There is a place in Gainesville, FL that you don't need a GED or High School Diploma. It costs $400 for a 2 week program and you work right away cuz they train you right at the place where you'll be working.

i think it used to be that you could cet a cna in some states without a diploma but what i hear its changing all the time and isnt it better to have a diploma anyway

I found two sites that state clearly that you do need those two things in order to take the classes. Maybe it depends on each state.
