What should I decorate my home with?

Hi there, you didn't provide very much information in your question so I went to your profile and different sites that you have and I think based on your interests, you should decorate your home to be a family friendly ski lodge.

I recommend that you go to www.HGTV.com and research the show Room By Room. Shari and Matt have done some great ski lodge themed rooms.

Maybe set up a nice game table for the kids.....

Get black and white photos of your family and dog and make a wall collage.

Your home should be an external image of you and if those are things you like then that's what you should incorporate. Do you have a window that you could make into a cozy reading nook?Don't forget some warm afghan throws for movie night on the couch.

Maybe if you have a soffit above your cabinets in the kitchen, you could put snow shoes, an old radio flyer sled, a small statue of a husky, greenery some photos.

If you don't have a fireplace maybe you could create a fake one. There was a great faux fireplace on the show Decorating Cents on HGTV. They used trim pieces, a shelf and some candles. Very peaceful looking. Don't forget a pile of logs by the door and some old ski boot with a plant in them. :)
