It is used up by the body in the form of energy.

Eat only when hungry.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Further eat only when hungry. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

Your body takes the stored fat and basicly uses it for fuel. Hence, burning fat. It's sort of like a steam engine, you put on coal or wood and the burning fuel (fat) turns to steam which powers the train. The left overs are pushed out throught the smoke stack on the train and your body disposes of the (waste) that is the solid left over after it used the "fuel" part of the fat.

Fat is made up of specialized cells (fat cells) that expand and contract as they store and lose (your body metabolizes the fat molecules) fat molecules. Fat molecules are simply high energy molecules your body uses (breaks down to aquire energy) when it is low on energy and needs it.

Fat is our bodies way of storing energy, when you loose fat you are burning energy (calories) When your body uses up the energy your body has readily (carbs) it than goes and takes energy from fat. So when you loose fat your body is using it to create energy so you're body can move and function.

the cells shrink. The fat gets used up as energy. You never actually lose fat cells, they just get smaller.

You never lose the fat. Your fat cells shrink. You will always have the same amount of fat cells, but they just shrink.
