how do you go about getting them, price etc.

eI paid around $85 for mine. i went to my local court house and applied for mine ther. i needed my birth certificate and social card. if your getting more than one at a time u need to have seprate checks. they mail out the form along with ur birth C and u will get that along wih ur passport in the mail. it took 2 to 3 weeks for mine to get back to me. so give ur self plently of time!!! Have fun!

Got my first one about 15 years ago, so prices are probably different... but I went to the county clerk. The next one was easy through the US Embassy.

It's costs $97 and you can usually get one through your local post office. You need to provide proper identification like your birth certificate, Social Security card, and photo id

Man, those US passports are expensive. I got mine for about 50 euros and it took only a week.
We get them from City Hall.
