Caramel KISSES Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients:
72 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Caramel Filled Milk Chocolates
1 family size (13x9-in. pan) original supreme brownie mix with HERSHEY'S Syrup Pouch
1/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon water
1 cup ground pecans(optional)
2-1/2 teaspoons milk
Directions:
1. Remove wrappers from chocolates. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
2. Beat brownie mix, pouch of syrup, cocoa, eggs, oil and water in medium bowl until well blended. Cover; refrigerate about 1 hour or until thoroughly chilled (dough will still be sticky).
3. Heat oven to 350 F. Shape dough into 48 1-inch balls. (Return dough to refrigerator if necessary or drop by rounded teaspoons onto wax paper-lined trays and refrigerate about 10 minutes.) Roll balls in pecans, if desired. Place on prepared cookie sheet; press thumb gently in center of each cookie. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
4. Place 24 caramel filled chocolates and milk in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 30 seconds; stir. If necessary microwave at HIGH an additional 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chocolates are melted and smooth when stirred. Put about 1/2 teaspoon caramel filling in each indentation. Lightly press chocolate on caramel. 48 cookies.

Almond Chocolate Kiss Cookies

Total Time: 34 min
Makes: 2 dozen cookies or 24 servings, 1 cookies each
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
1-1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup finely chopped toasted PLANTERS Slivered Almonds
24 foil-wrapped milk chocolate pieces
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and almond extract. Add flour and baking soda; beat until well blended.
SHAPE dough into 24 balls, each about 1 inch in diameter; roll in almonds. Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately top each with 1 unwrapped candy piece; press candy lightly into center of cookie. Remove to wire racks; cool completely. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg, separated
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
VANILLA FILLING(recipe follows)
26 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates or HERSHEY'S HUGS Brand Chocolates or pecan halves or candied cherry halves
Directions:
1. Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk, milk and vanilla in medium bowl until fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Refrigerate dough at least 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
2. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. With fork, beat egg white slightly. Dip each ball into egg white; roll in nuts. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Press thumb gently in center of each cookie.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Meanwhile, prepare VANILLA FILLING. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. Remove cookies from cookie sheet to wire rack; cool 5 minutes. Spoon about 1/4 teaspoon filling into each thumbprint. Gently press chocolate piece in center of each cookie. Cool completely. About 2 dozen cookies.
VANILLA FILLING: Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon softened butter or margarine, 2 teaspoons milk and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract in small bowl; beat until smooth.
VARIATION: Omit egg white and chopped nuts. Roll balls in granulated sugar. Bake as directed. Top with VANILLA FILLING and pecan or walnut half.

Peanut Butter Blossoms
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
additional sugar
48 Hershey's chocolate kisses (unwrapped)
Combine shortening, sugars, egg, vanilla and peanut butter.
Add dry ingredients and milk.
Shape dough into small balls, then roll in sugar.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 350.
Place a kiss in middle of each cookie pressing until the edges crack.

You can make them with just about any type of cookie recipe. Most people use a peanut butter cookie recipe, or an almond one.
bake the cookies to get the chewy recipe, not the hard cookie one. (this just means cooking then a few minutes less).
While they are cooking, unwrap the Hersey's kisses, so they are ready to go.
As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, add the Hersey's kisses, just press the kiss down slightly.
1 kiss per cookie. It's easy!
