The chicken. You have to have something to form an egg in the first place, which involves evolution of an animal into the state where it can finally lay eggs.

Obviously it had to be a chicken (or some form of it). Something had to keep the egg safe before the original hatch. Maybe evolution explains it, or creationism. Either way would be an explanation. The chicken had to have come first though.

If you're a strict creationist, you can read in Genesis 1:11 that seed bearing plants were created on the third day, with plants bearing seeds in their kinds. Thus, seeds were a form of the egg that existed before there were any animals at all.
Read on to the fifth day and you'll see that the sea creatures were created before the land creatures, and many of these lay eggs.
If you believe in evolution, it's even easier to see that the egg came first. Egg laying creatures such as mollusks, insects, and reptiles were on earth long before there were chickens or any sort of birds.

The chicken of course because God made the chickens and then they laid eggs. Because in the bible it says stuff about birds flying and fish swimming. How can swim and fly.

The sky rained eggs, and some fell into the ocean. Over time, they evolved into more complex organisms, and and, over billions of years, turned into Rhesus monkeys. Chickens are a government scheme.

Our FATHER created the animal, the egg was laid by the chicken. The chicken came first (Genesis) then the egg. Have a great evening.
