there is this guy i really like, and wen we were talking once about relationships, he said that if the guy (i.e. himself) is older than the girl by like eg. 6 years, it will get worse in the future because the girl might leave the him for a younger guy? is this right?? and should girls be with older or younger guys??

Well I think it makes sense for the guy to be older but girls can be a little older... i mean it doesn't make much of a difference as long as you feel for each other. What does age difference matter? :)

Age is nothing more than a number.
One of the happiest couples I ever met had about a 35 year difference in age. She was the older. They were worse than teenagers. I received a call from him one morning that he had to have some time off. His wife had died. I worked with him for another two years and he never got over it. I doubt he ever will.
I knew a woman who married a man 17 years her senior. Her attitude was she didn't want to raise her husband.
It's all in how you look at it. Do what is right for you and you will feel right about it.

your not going to fall for that are you??? Is he ever wrong. I know many men who have left their wives for younger women. Usually when they hit 45. They are looking for women in their late twenties or early thirties. You know when they but the fast cars. Change the style of their clothes and hair (if there is any left) I think it is to make them feel young again. Women on the other hand very rarely go for younger men. Im not talking about 3-5 years difference. Which is the norm. Im talking 10-15 years younger.
You need to be with someone you love and not worry about age. You'll know when its right to be with him.

Actually, no. Age doesn't really matter but love is all that matters. There are women who really fall for older guys and they get along well or younger guys with older women. It is how you really love,trust and respect each other.

it doesnt really matter if you arent meant to be together it wont work either way and with all the people you know who have broke up or divorced how many of them was for one of them to go to a younger person it doesnt matter who is older it wont effect your relationship if you two love each other and if you love each other then why would you leave for a younger person

if a older woman is witha younger guy its for all the wrong reasons. a older man is better cause woman are more mature than men so the age difference will help.

Usually girls like the older guys for matureity reasons, but i dont think age matters unless your 20 years apart...yuck

age shouldn't matter. if she leaves him for a younger guy, then the relationship wasn't right from the beginning. if it's not perfect, it's not right, although it does take work

Age shouldn't really come into factor here if you're both over 18 than its okay, I think it should just be about love, not age, age is just a number. Hope I've helped.
