My computer came with Vista Home Premium.

There is also a sealed disk, container says, "Upgrade your Windows Vista Experience -Windows Anytime Upgrade"

Question: If I install this disk will it turn my Home Premium into Ultimate?

Yes, it's legit Microsoft product. It is in a sealed case. It also has GPN and QPN bar scan numbers.

Doe the CD say that it will upgrade you computer from Premium to Ultimate? Maybe its just to update your computer like Windows Updated for XP. But I am not sure because I don't have Vista.

Sounds vague. Does it have a Microsoft logo on it anywhere? If not, I don't think it would.

Windows Ultimate would have features of Windows Business integrated with Windows Premium. In turn, Windows Premium is comparable to Windows XP Media Center 2005. If you don't plan on making advanced networking in your house (like Novell or Windows Server) a priority or running a business from your home, you really don't need Windows Ultimate. (which is why it's $399 upgrade/$499 full version: it's everything Microsoft could possibly put into Vista.)

Yes. The disc allows you to upgrade your Vista. You have to pay to get a serial number to complete the upgrade.
