It means one of two things:
It once had a turbo and it was taken off of it.
Or
It was manufactured without a turbo in the first place.
Best to just look it up like I didn't.

It's a straight 4, not as much power, good on gas mileage though. Had one, loved it for commuting around town, but hated it for any "speed" activities (getting on the Eway, passing cars, etc). In response to the previous answers, not all Saabs are turbo charged. There weren't alot of them that weren't turbo charged, however they do exist. As mentioned, Saab is well known for their turbocharged I-4 engines, and as such most people don't realize they were also available without a turbo.

Saab cars utilize turbo by regenerating the exhaust pushed through the engine, generally this is a function that Saab is known for and I believe all Saab vehicles have this turbo feature.

125ish. They weren't extraordinarily quickly inspite of the quicker. Had a 2002 SAAB 9-3 Viggen that could bypass around 140ish, even though it replaced right into a definite version kind. as far because of the fact the Chevelle doing 185, I doubt you rather have a Chevelle, because of the fact as an surely proprietor of a 70' chevelle, i be attentive to they gained't get everywhere on the brink of 185. Wind resistance and gearing stops maximum corvettes different than the extra recent fashions from even accomplishing that. The Chevelle is even worse for the two a form of.

That's odd because all true Saabs are turbocharged... It has either ran out or was simply produced without- the latter is highly unlikely, especially for an '88. Definitely ask the seller what's up.

It means it's like 99% of the cars made in the world. It does not have a turbocharger. It's not a hot rod version of that Saab.

Means it doesn't have a turbo charger, the car isn't as powerful, and the engine will last longer.
