need more info.. maybe he is just loving you as a friend, and maybe he is trying to terst you to see if you are intereste din him. Ask him straight up! "When you say you love me in whatsense do you mean? Would you be interested in dating me?"

maybe he just loves you as a friend... probably you have "something" for your neighbor and he knows it... maybe he just likes you to be happy since he probably loves you as his friend only... we will never know unless you talk to him... maybe you should talk with him about the matter. that's the only way since no one in yahoo! answers knows what he thinks... *wink*
