Please try to Knorr Spinach dip recipe. I think its the best, & trust me, I've had all types!!!

buy a package of Knorr Vegetable soup mix (usually at any grocery store) & it contains the directions on the back of the package for their Oh-So-Fabulous- recipe***

KNORR SPINACH DIP

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed (do not use fresh)
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise (I use Hellmann's)
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, finely chopped
3 green onions, finely chopped
Loaf of pumpernickel bread

Squeeze spinach until dry. In medium bowl, stir together spinach, sour cream and soup mix. Add finely chopped water chestnuts and green onions. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Cut slice from top of round loaf of pumpernickel bread, hollow out loaf to leave shell to contain dip. Use bread removed from shell and top slice to cut into bite size pieces. Butter inside of bread shell, fill loaf with dip and place on platter and surround with bread pieces and variety of raw vegetables. Then...GET OUT OF THE WAY!!! After the dip is eaten, enjoy the dip soaked bread shell as well.

Below is a hot dip. In case you wanted the refrigerated dip, buy Knorr's Creamy Vegetable Soup Mix. On the front label you should see a pic of the soup (yawn) and the "famous" spinach dip (yum). The recipe is on the back, using the soup mix as the seasonings.

Spinach-Artichoke Dip

1 (10-oz) package frozen chopped spinach
2 (13 3/4-ounce) cans artichoke hearts
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1 cup grated pepper jack cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a casserole dish with nonstick spray.

Heat the spinach in a microwave oven on high for 5 minutes and squeeze dry. Drain the artichoke hearts and coarsely chop in a food processor.

Combine all the ingredients except the jack cheese in a large bowl. Stir well. Scrape into the prepared casserole dish and sprinkle the jack cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes. Transfer to a chafing dish and keep warm over a low flame. Serve with bagel chips.

I know the perfect recipe it is on the Knorr vegetable recipe mix which of course you will need a package of this which is cheap a 10 oz package of frozen chopped , thawed and drained spinach, 1 16oz container of sour cream, 1 cup of Hellman's or whatever brand you like mayo, 1 8oz can of drained and chopped water chestnuts [optional] and 3 green onions {optional} You mix everything together and serve it with your favorite bread or crackers which if you love spinach dip you already know.

Okay, here's the scoop. I found this awesome recipe there that taste better than Applebee's, TGI Fridays, etc. It's simple to make and really good. Go to allrecipes and type in restaurant style spinach artichoke dip and then it should come up. Good luck finding it.

I'm not a dip fan, because there are a lot of flavors going on in it and that's not amusing to me! so if I want to dip my chips (usually salty or hot) I would go for plain yogurt and sometimes I add some cooked spinach to it.

taylor s is right, the Knorr kind is the best!
I always make sure to put the green onions in and leave the water chesnuts out! I don't think spinach dip should be crunchy.
