Are you sure on your neck? That is a place that takes some serious thinking as it is the most noticeable and will be one of the first things people see. Why don't you think about getting a red star somewhere else?

many jobs will not take people with visible tattoos, and your neck is pretty visible, regardless of what it is you want there. Unless its something you absolutely cannot do without put your star somewhere where you can cover it or you will regret the placement for the rest of your life everytime you are turned down for a job because of a silly young decision.

Cool is not a word that should be used for tattoos. Art, Permanent, and rite of passage come to mind. There was a time when you had to earn a tattoo by doing something in your life, it wasnt simply because people were worried about wether or not everyone else thought they were cool.

One thing that is certain is you really wanna watch where you put your ink. I have an awesome job, in a very large corporation in the burbs of chicago, I also have 14 tattoos and several piercings, but if they were really obvious and just all out I think that I would have a problem with my job. So unless you plan on doing something where they are much more leiniant on your appearance I would definatly reconsider the spot you put it.

If you have to ask, then no. What's cool is relative. Why get a tattoo you hate just because your group thinks it's cool, or not get one you love because your group doesn't like it?

I'd much rather be ridiculed by a few retarded friends than hate myself for the rest of my life for getting a tat I didn't really like.

What does it signify? If it means something to you then yes, but if you're getting it because millions of other people have star tattoos then NO... : )

if you have to ask other people because you need reassurance that it's the "cool" thing to do...then no....if it were something you got just because it's for YOU and it expresses aspects of you and you don't need anyone's "yes or no" about it....then yes, I would be more in favor of it.

ur neck is very noticable place in your body..like ur lower back or ur arm...
anyway..do what u think it's better for u....but if it's a star..that's my advice..
if ur skin is a kind of white..make it with blue outline or make it blue with black outline..
