my foot is 8 1/2 inches is it ok to get 6.5? will it fit me?

no, its too small. if u wear a heel and too small your toes will be squished and lose circulation. I'd recommend 8.5 rounded toe, or a 9 if you wear pointy shoes. Good luck! ;)

All I know is that .5 = 1/2 inch in shoe sizes. I would think you need
an 8 1/2 = 8 1/2 inches

8.5' = 8.5 shoe.
6.5 shoe = 6'5.
