of the prophets? is this not an inconsistant God ? Are some prophets greater than others? You claim they are the same.

Smiley...What purpose was unique that Jesus was spared is he doing something now that he could not have done if he was crucified?

or is this simply a lie of the devil to prevent you from the slavation that is available to you? There is a purpose for Christ to be crucified and no purpose for him to be rescued above any prophet that he would have been equal too...right?

nmp Chrisitans do not believe Muhammad a prophet of God but the spirit of antichrist and false prophets that Jesus warned us was to come.

Shanu your praching ot the Choir! I know he was crucified so does almost everyone who isn't Muslim. It's not only scriptural it is historical. I don't believe God is a deceiver who would deceive people into thinking Christ was crucified...Satan is the deceiver not God and Jesus. Jesus was not a prophet he was the only begotten Son of God. Consider if he were not God would have to judge you guilty in your sin the penaltywould have to be paid as My God is righteous and we fell away from God by sin...God's plan from creation is to join us back to him not to join us in our unrighteousness but to bring us to him in his righteousness...Jesus is God...He was not sacrificed by God but rather chose to pay the penalty for you and we have been through this why have you foraken me so many times ...First you have realize God is righteous somehting Muslims can't seem to grasp...It is the reason the atonement was necessary and the reason he chose to die for you.

Not ALL prophets were killed, silly. MANY were saved, but just not the same way that Jesus (peace be upon him) was.
Edit: So, you're pathetically implying that just because Jesus was saved in such a way (by being raised up forth to the heavens), it must be the case that he IS God??!! Or that he's God's son? Or a part of God? LOL!!! Still doesn't make sense to a person who'd think about it, you know? And, what, wouldn't that be making God a bit too selfish to do that??!!!! To save "his son" in such a way but not the rest?.... Son, God, all at the same time... still not getting it.
One more thing... why are his last words claimed to have been, "Why hast thou forsaken me?!" NONE of God's prophets/messengers would EVER say such a thing, ok? The Jesus (pbuh) I know wouldn't either because he was a prophet as well.
Hope you'll THINK about it some time!
Peace!

Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet only and not the son of man as we Christens believe. According to Muslim belief, Jesus stated there would be one more prophet to follow him and the Muslims accepted Muhammad as that prophet. The teaching of Muhammad as being the last re legion handed down from God is accepted by the Muslims that theirs is the one true religion to be spread at the end of the sword. It was after Muhammad died that war truly broke out in the Middle East. What Muslims fail to recognize or accept to this day, is that they started the wars and continue to this day. In the ancient Middle East, Christianity was the predominate religion as the influence of Rome was everywhere as Christianity was the religion of Rome.
Egypt, Syria and Palestine were the first Christian countries to fall under the sword of the Muslims. For the next four centuries they conquered the Middle East, North Africa and Asia minor.
The crusades were a defencive stance taken by the church in Rome to free the Christians who were in slavery to the Muslims.
That we pray to the same God is of no difference to the Muslims, you are either Muslim or you are not. As a non Muslim you can live in their society, but the true faith according to their teachings must rule the earth with no other religion as a dominate force any where.
Peace

because of the fact Allah willed so. It replaced into His will for Muhammad (salla Allahu 'alayhy wa sallam) to die on that categorical day and His will to advance 'Isa ibn Maryam ('alayhyma as salam) and save him from the Jews. If God wills to do something He merely instructions it "Be!" and it rather is. God reminds us approximately this certainty in Surat Al-Qamar, financial ruin fifty 4, verse 50: ??? ????? ??? ????? ???? ?????? And Our command is yet one; like the little while. Surat Al-Qamar, fifty 4:50

Each prophet, just like each person, has a unique purpose and a unique life and death.
