If you have a slipped "disc".. your health care practitioner should be providing you with healthy choices.. You risk the chance of injuring yourself even worse. Good luck.

Hi there,

Beside swimming.. it is still swimming.. i just had a discectomy surgery done due to prolapsed disc.. and the doctor advised to swim more and do some strengthening exercise.. like semi sit up to build the stomach muscle.Brisk walking daily for 30mins for maintaining weight, as having disk problem is not advisable weight increase. Cycling will be good also. Some strectching will be good also.. but yoga, may have to be careful that you don't bend fornt and back too much.. too much will cause shooting pain in legs may in term of stressing your nerves..

Well, to get rid of the cause and prevent further disc slips, I would really recommend a one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effects are really amazing - have experienced them myself. Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It worth even a long journey! :-)
