what's the best fda pharmaceutical drug out there for cutters or SH's??

I'm not looking for drugs to abuse or anything. Just psychiatric drugs or something like that.

Most self harmers have a borderline personality disorder. There isnt a med for that but therapy has been found to be the best help. You could have as another poster mentioned, some other type of illness which is contributing to your self harm. Why not go to a psych Dr and have a evaluation done, it can only help. I don't think that there is a pill for SH. Most doctors have you go thought therapy and then they get you on some meds for depression or OCD or whatever they think might work to get you to feel better. I used to cut and my doctors found out that i had bi-polar and borderline. Therapy and meds and a support group (family, friends, groups) and i felt like i didn't need to cut anymore.
