My 5 month old kitten has developed small (about 1/4 - 1/2 inch across) raised spots on the lower left side of her tummy/upper leg area. They are also on that ridge that comes up when you pull a cats leg out straight. On a person they would be little spots of ecxema but I've never had it on a cat before. Any ideas?

well it would depend on whether or not the spots are red or not for starters. if they are red and round I would look to have your cat checked for ringworm. if your cat was anywhere recently, like a grooming shop or Vet stay for spaying it would be possible for her to gotten it there. If it is ringworm it is highly contagious to people and other animals. Have it checked out by your Vet is the best solution

Biolumina is right...ringworm is very contagious - and can easily be passed to humans. It is really awful to have as I once got it from a cat on my neck...

If that is what it is, I am sue the doctor will prescribe something, but also, antifungal medications work (i.e. athletes foot medicine, etc.),

sounds like ringworm to me. If you want a surefire way to cure it in less time than a prescription would take, use iodine on it twice a day until gone. use a cotton ball or soft cloth to gently rub pure iodine on the site. will clear up in a few days that way.

Ringworms. You may want to call your local vet for a visit.

I'm gonna go with ringworm. Have her checked by a vet. If it's ringworm, you can catch it from kitty.

They are the nipples of the kitten. When your kitty has babies (unless you spayed her) the kittens will drink her milk! Hope i helped
