JFK? "i do not regret the things ive done, but those i did not do"

yeah id say that quote is perfect. If you regret the things you've done then your making it nowhere in life, that means you are stuck dwelling in the past on things that are now history in where you cannot do anything to change. but if you regret the things you did not do, maybe you can look forward.

It's always better to regret what you did than what you didn't do. Any action, even a wrong one...is better than doing nothing at all.

Great question, and one that is deeper than it initially seems.

I tend to agree with Stowe and Harris.

"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone." ~ Harriet Beecher Stowe

"Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable." ~ Sydney J. Harris

well, it depends on the situation...if its really bad, then it would be really bad to regret something you have done.
but like, if its asking someone out who u werent sure about, i think its better to ask and regret it afterwards....because then you never kno what happens and you regret never doing anything about it.

It is better to truthfully repent and forget about the wrongs you have done. Do not go back to those things, and let God handle the rest.

It is far better to be good and never sin. The heartache after you have sinned is too great to bear. It will haunt you forever.
