Walking is a great exercise. It's not too hard on your joints and it gets you in shape. Once you get into better shape, try running a little bit. Don't forget to stretch before you exercise because that helps you to lose weight and keeps you from injuring yourself. Swimming is also a great exercise for in the summer. Sit-ups, crunches, push-ups, leg lifts, etc. are good if you want to focus on certain parts of your body.
Also, you have to eat healthier. You have to make a habit of exercising and eating healthy, otherwise, you won't be able to keep the weight off once you lose it. If you gain weight when you first start exercising, don't get discouraged. You hear this a lot, but it's true- Muscle really does weigh more than fat!
Habits make you or break you, and you have control over them. Now is the time to lose the weight because it will only get harder as you get older. Make it a habit to exercise and stay fit and to eat healthy foods, and you will be a hot, fit teen. =)

Eat only when hungry.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Further eat only when hungry. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

One movement you should limit is the motion of hand to mouth when hand contains food. Other than that, jumping rope is good, rowing is better, and swimming is best.

See your doctor before starting any fitness program.
