I always use nestles chocolate chips, and 1 tablespoon of oil and have never had a problem.

Not positive that it will harden fast, but almond bark. It is delicious. Chocolate Chips will melt easily after made so i wouldn't suggest them. Baking chocolate would work but it may be bitter so be careful what to buy

I buy the Wilton brand of chocolate (found in the craft section at my super walmart) it melts fast and is great for dipping because it sets up fast and has a great taste.

Most grocery stores sell dipping wafers in their bulk food section. They are round and the size of a nickel. I find they are a smooth chocolate, melt easily, and work great for dipping, fondues, and baking!

Almond Bark is the best, but if you can't find it try Candy Quick. Also, baker's chocolate, which I can only find at the local craft store (Michael's) works well, too. Good Luck!
