He wants some tips on what I like , but is in camp in the oilfiled working so cant nessassarily come with me, or want to for that matter lol. And I never see any pics that I like, so rather than him having to go to every store that I say theres a ring that I like, was wanting to take pics. I dont think this is possible, anyone know for sure? Also, I hate peoples, ben moss, those kinds of places, and have yet to find a website where I like any that they show. Bluenile, diamondisforever, those are all brutal.

Some will allow you to take pics others wont. Really i dont think they will even know that you did if you take a pic with your camera phone (if you have one). When you walk in take a pic of what you want when they are not really around, than if they say somthing tell them what you are doing, this way they wont be freaking out, and they can tell you that you cant do that, and you can say that you didnt know..but it wont matter cause you will than already of the pic.
You can also just explain as much as possible to your man what you want, and just trust him. Its nice to have a bit of a surprise than knowing excatly what your getting.

I work in a high end jewelry galleria, and no, you may not take random pictures of the product, it is a security thing. What you can do is find some that you do like in the store, then go to their website and print the picture for yourself.

I would suggest this..go shopping one day and if you something you like then let them know why you want a picture. See if there is anyway they can or would allow you to take the picture. I can understand the security risk like one comment stated but they should atleast understand your situation and may sympathize with you.

If I was you i would pick a store and tell the clerk your name and that you Bf will be in to shop for a ring if she could he;p him with the rings you like good luck

I think it's a great idea. That way the salespeople can work with him and show him things that are similar to the style, and cut you like :)
