Because we know the proper use of the word there... obviously you don't.

They say that because usually atheists are the ones who gain lots of knowledge about this world (so they are right about the knowledge thing most of the time) and about the nicer I don't know the whole religious/nor religious thing has anything to do with who is nicer, the nice thing is all up to every human as an individual.

There is no humility in atheism. According to them, every question has an answer that can be understood by a species (humans) that admittedly only uses less than 10% of its mental capacities.
Atheists have an automatic presumption that a higher being cannot exist even before they do any research. How's THAT for open-mindedness?
Even Einstein admitted that he was wrong to not allow a "Divine Factor" in his logic after being invited by Edwin Hubble to look through his telescope. Einstein saw for himself that the universe is expanding, and had to take out a clause in his General Relative Theory.
By having no humility, atheists think that they are better than those of us who can admit when we do not know something.

I dont claim to be above anyone most christians do that need to get your facts straight buddy.
I have no extensive knowledge that makes me more knowing than anyone else or in no way better. I have "my" knowledge and I have the right in america ... to share it as what is called my opinion it dose not mean that anyone has to agree or disagree to what I believe.
Thank you ...

They don't always. But when Christians (and sometimes Muslims) post about how they're better, it's going to grate on their nerves eventually.

I dare you to continue thinking that after I bring up these accounts.
A gay man's funeral....There is a rally outside holding signs reading, "God hates gays". The members of the rally scream at the mourning family and friends of the dead man, "He's a f@g, he's going to hell!"
Salem Witch Trials....women burned at the stake and being accused of witchcraft.
The entire Christian history.....convert, or they will kill you.
Who's nicer now?

i am not sure if there is any correlation with religion and book smart, but i am a strong believer that religion creates a barrier between the mind, body, and soul. meaning that religion closes your mind to alternative perspectives. i am sure i will get some nasty comments from bible thumpers out there and that will prove my point even more. i am not an atheist but i would not call my self a Christan. i am more into zen, Ki, the inner spirit.

Maybe they are. Atheists aren't given to making unfounded assertions. Perhaps you should take a closer look at what they're saying.

No one person speaks for any group of people. Some are prideful, some are humble.
I think things escalate quickly.
