The bible says we must not eat shellfish.

Does this mean if I go to Shrimply Tuesdays at Red Lobster I am going to hell...?

Look that depends if you are a jew or not. So no, there is the old testaminte and the new. In the old people followed the 10 comandments. And also sacrificed animals for God. But since Jesus Christ died on the cross. He was the ultimate sacrifice. Now we follow the new comandments. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and love you everyone else as you love you self. Read the whole book, and learn somthing it is good I promise.

If your serious...no. The bible is more like a guidebook to help you live your life. Some of the parts of the bible shouldn't be taken seriously (Leviticus 19: 19 " 'Keep my decrees.
" 'Do not mate different kinds of animals.
" 'Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
" 'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material. ' ")
