Or is it like Christians say, "repent now or go to hell when you die!"...sounds harsh that way, doesn't sound like a Messiah at all...

The repenting period ended when they drew their last breath of air. If they had not accepted Jesus prior to this, they will not get another opportunity.

it would be like an commercial on television that is interesting on the commencing up, however the extra they play it, the extra stressful it gets till human beings do no longer even choose to attempt the product anymore. To a non-believer, the Christian message is merely one among infinite others that they are bombarded with every day. protecting in concepts that the Christian message makes the dazzling declare that a guy who lived 2000 years in the past gave each and every physique eternal life (in the event that they suspect the story), human beings evidently report it away under the 'dazzling claims' type alongside the bathing liquid that eliminates 'any stain' and the conspiracy and flying saucers memories we learn. whilst the story is repeated, the two useful reinforcement or detrimental reinforcement will happen.

No. Jesus is pretty clear in the Bible that you have to repent of your sins before you die. After death, He says there is no opportunity. The choice you make in this life (i.e. to believe or not believe in Him as Messiah) determines where you spend eternity.

Christ teaches his followers to forgive seventy times of seven, while we human beings generally don't forgive more than three times. He forgives us innumerable times, while we choose hell against His divine counsels, because we don't become perfect at our first repentance, but we still continue to fall thousands of times!
Heaven is not a physical place for all people to enjoy physical pleasures. It is the spiritual world where obedient souls feel the blissful joy in the fire of the love of God; while in that same spiritual realm, the disobedient souls only feel hellish fire from that love. The reason is that we refuse to develop our spiritual characters here and now as a divine elixir to soften that great heat. So, should we repent or should God change His divine law of causality.

There is nothing in the Bible that a chance for salvation exists after this life. Jesus is not harsh, He died for you and is waiting for you to accept Him while you are alive. He wants you to love Him and know Him in this life. Why pass up the opportunity for that kind of love from Jesus, the lover of your soul. He gives people every chance to accept Him while they are alive. If someone saved your life would you expect to wait until you died to thank them? No, you would want to do it right away and yet with Jesus people call Him harsh.

Why does it sound harsh, You have the choice!! The bible is pretty clear

Hebrews 9:2727 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,

If you don't believe, it really is your choice, it sounds like you are aware of the alternative. Do you not know that sin is the very source of pain in this world, yet you struggle to turn away from it, turning to Chirst and walking in obediance leads to COMPLETE JOY, (this is promised in john 15:10-11

If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I have told you this SO THAT MY JOY MAY BE IN YOU AND THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE COMPLETE.

But again it really is your choice, but you must choose before you die.

Course you gotta make a choice before you die, after that there's no chance, because there's NO AFTERLIFE.

Sheesh. Where is the proof, I honestly would love to know why these smug, immature adult brats have to believe in something that cannot be verified, cannot be exemplified, and follow a smelly old book that reeks of 2000 years of change, twist and the biles of the men killed over it!

I believe most people repent on there death bed, but those that do not I'm sure will have a chance to so on the other side.

Very good question.

When you die the truth will become known,If youre not a christian on earth then you definately will be when you die.

If someone on a remote island who has never heard of Our Lord but has lived a decent life dies then its probably safe to assume they will make it to heaven.
All circumstances will be taken into account,
God isnt cruel,God gives.

People may have to do a stint in purgatory to rid themselves of the things that bind them to earth but when thats done they will be allowed enter.

Any "Christian" who says that to you is NOT a Christian at all, but a totally closed minded bigot and absolutist! God is love..God is mercy..God is understanding!..All those people who never had a chance to discover the truth of Jesus, either because their own religion into which they were born, deliberately misleading them, deceiving them, and threatening them with death..Or they never even heard of Jesus because of where they lived and when they lived..WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED!!..If they have led a good life, if they have done no evil , if they have shown compassion to others..God will know this, And will say."Come" to them..Those who deny this to you, are really telling you that God does not love, and that God is not merciful....They are terribly..Terribly wrong!..
