Do people get free food or drink if they work at a place that produces food or drink? Like at a Pepsi factory, workers would get free Pepsi, or at a Potato chip factory workers would get free potato chips.

No they do not. It seems pretty unfair to me. My grandpa worked at and retired from Pepsi cola factory. When he retired they gave him a nice engraved wall clock but no life time supply of Pepsi which our family still drinks on a regular day to day basis. Sad isn't it.

My husband works for Pepsi, and no he does not get free products. They do have a sale every other week where you can go and purchase their soda, tea, and etc. at reduced prices. Sometimes he can get 2 liters for .12 cents. The products are usually things that are getting ready to expire, damaged, or if they made too many of a certain item in production.

WOW!! I often wondered about the answer to this question also!! I was wondering at like thier Christmas Company Parties if they would give them like a years supply of this stuff as a gift!!!!

Not necessarily. The places you are likely to get free foods are restaurants, and nowadays they most often discount meals for them. Unless they are management, they do not eat for free.

A friend of my moms worked at Russel Stovers and they were able to eat all they wanted on thier shift, but how much choc. could you possibly eat in like 8hrs?!

as far as i know, you get a discount on drinks, but you may or may not get a sample of new pepsi or coke products (which could be when they make something new yearly).

my sister gets free drinks from a beverage company. i think it depends on the manager of that particular site. she also gets, free shirts, caps, jackets, posters, mirrors, etc.
