It could be ok. How formal is the shower?. I have been to some where it was more on the casual side, like at someones house and everyone was wearing jeans. Find out where it is being held and at what time. If it's a country club, go a little more dressy, someone's home/a church hall then jeans..... Do what you feel is right. If you don't really know the bride or anyone else there, I won't worry too much about getting really dressed up.

I went to visit my mom once in my hometown, and there was a bridal shower for an old friend of mine that I forgot about. Because I forgot, I didn't have any nice clothes, just jeans (blue jeans, not even black). For a shirt, all I had was a sweatshirt and T-shirt. Oops. I went anyway. When I walked in, everyone was dressed all nice and everything. I totally felt out of place. However, I think people that react all nasty to someone that isn't dressed to their standards is a todal snob anyway. You shouldn't judge people by how they dress.

I think what you are going to wear will be fine. But I'm curious as to why your mom is even going to a shower if she hardly knows them! Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it sounds to me, too, that they just want more gifts!
Have a good time!

It's a bridal shower, not the wedding. You'll be fine in jeans as long as they don't have holes in them. Find out what your mom is wearing...that could give you a good idea of the expected attire.

The jeans are fine. I'd wear them if I were going and I'm older than 20! I don't think anyone really cares anymore.

Bridal showers are almost always casual events. If you'd wear that outfit out to a dinner, then it is fine. It sounds appropriate.

That would be fine if you dressed the out fit up with a fitted jacket. This will make the outfit more formal. A suit jacket style would be fine.

Newer jeans, without holes or torn and ragged. Dress jeans are fine and would be appropriate with some heals and a nice top/blouse/shirt, etc. Have fun and please your mom. Very important. God bless****

Sounds fine for the shower--it's a less formal kind of party.
