Logical Earthling: Please tell me where any American entertainers have said they "like war", almost EVERY single Canadian entertainer either plays on some kind of hockey league, wears hockey jerseys , or has stated how much they like it.

Most Canadians care about hockey, I'm watching a game now. As far as our entertainers giving a skewed view, I haven't a clue what you're talking about. Most of our entertainers that make it big in comedy, acting or music head south and are assumed american anyway.

We definitely care about hockey! But, we care about different hockey in different ways. PeeWee hockey is the great because you've got all these tiny, teenie people wobbling around and spending more time on the ice than on their skates. The minor leagues are a good chance to see some reasonably good hockey and you might see a future star. the Junior leagues are great, cheap entertainment in a lot of small towns and can build rivalries with other towns. The CHL leagues (WHL, QMJHL, OHL etc...) are GREAT! Last, there is the NHL. That boils down to a soap opera from lots of guys (myself included!)

No, I think that the Canadian entertainers that like hockey are telling the truth. They actually do like hockey. It's not a conspiracy, they're just hockey fans. No skewed view of reality, just hockey.

I'm Canadian but I don't pay any attention to hockey or have any interest in it. It does seem to be a pretty popular pastime here though, and I can understand why, but it has just never interested me. Personally I prefer baseball.
As a kid, I played cricket, rugby and tennis, and currently I swim, bike and do a bit of weightlifting.

Hockey sucks!! All those Canadian entertainers are doing is keeping the lie alive. Of course living in igloos with only one tv channel doesn't help.............Get a grip......do all Americans like war???,or is this just a skewed vision of all americans??

I have been to Canada lots of times.They love hockey and CFL football.Hockey is #1 though.

well, ya i think the vast magoraty do. like any canadian who likes sports im gessing likes hocky, just like the english and soccer, or amarica and football.. but u can never say ALL becuase theres always the odd ball (like me) lol im a soccer fan personally
