I havent had lots of dancing experience,
but im too shy and embarrassed to dance with him at clubs or even at home. =[ he likes to dance alot so this is becoming a problem for me that i need to get over. any tips?

Be honest with him! You are missing out on sharing these moments because of your fear. He can teach you the moves at home, then you can go out and really have a good time!

I'm still having problems trying to figure out WHY you would intentionally embarrass your boyfriend? I understand that you're in high school but please, grow up. Adults do not treat each other that way. If you want him to go with you to the dance, just ask him.

just smile. and have a few drinks to relax, get the body moving. I only drink when i get nervous about asking women to dance...don't like the rejection and a drink or two makes the blows easier to take.

just move your body with the beat and practice at home when your cleaning of something just turn up the radio and dance to the music

practice dancing by yourself, maybe in front of a mirror so you can see what you're doing... maybe take a dance class... or just let him know that you don't dance and have him to help you, maybe it'll turn into a Dirty Dancing kinda thing, haha..

take dance lessons. then you can show him your new moves. and also you could take them with him.. as a couples class.. then you can know your moves you've been working on together. and get to be more close because it will show you want to work on something he is passionate about.
