Theoretically to go to heaven:-
Either you should have a) done more good deeds than sins
Or b) since you've done only bad, confess and ask for forgiveness from god in the church/ Allah in the mosque.
So you fill your pocket with all good credits you get and apply for a trip to heaven.
Once you go to heaven and the trip comes to an end (after seeing and experiencing what you paid for) what will happen to you?
Will you be able to get an extended stay and a part time job to pay for it?
Or will you get thrown out of heaven?

Heaven is temporary. . .as is Hell.

Our true home is neither sensory pleasure or pain.

We come back to earth to collect the next round of karmas after heaven and hell are done.

Salvation is a free gift it has nothing to do with good deeds.

(Ephesians 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Only the sons of perdition are cast out.
Like meriam and aaron were cast out of the camp of the israelites.
they were ultimately forgiven and received back but only after being proven Publicly that they had sinned. Technically they shouldve been stoned but there are rules of forgiveness and mercy that apply.
Utlitmately it is the desire of God that all men would believe NOT just in the saviour and our redeemer but in the KINGDOM of righteous and forsake ALL sin and evil. He WANTs Us all to stand on our own feet and walk in Holiness, and be steadfast till the end of every everlasting to every everlasting.
he wants us to be with HIM, to be like HIM, and to BE ONE with THEM in a place where no darkness exists.

Personally I believe the bad stuff gets paid off first, then, totally dependant on how good your good stuff was you get to go to that nice place. Of course certain people will be in the bad place for a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very VERY -VERY- long time.

Maybe the whole reincarnation thing is a "Well, it's not that you were a bad person per se, but we really can't let you stay up here forever, you know."

Not that I know all the answers or claim to know all the answers, just that I've done a lot of thinking and learning in my life.

One could do all the good deeds possible on earth and still not get into heaven.

Belief in Christ, who he was and what he did is what's important.
