The bible prophesied for the world to be destroyed so that is inevitable. As far as Islam and Christianity live side by side at peace that depends on each individual. As a whole no way because look at the majority. Look at all the people who claim to be so religious and yet the are engaged in war killing each other. And what does the bible tell us love you enemy, do not kill, when Jesus came to earth as a man he didn't engage in a war and he was sent as an example. In order for people to live in peace they have to become educated and people as a whole are to wrapped up in themselves to even care. There will never be world peace but each individual can find it if they seek it.

Given that Christianity and Islam are virtually identity apart from some important differences like the question of whether Jesus was man or God, then there is no reason for Muslims and Christians to not live in peace. Since Christians and Muslims worship the same God also makes things easier. On the other hand, Christians and Atheists living side by side is another question. Although Christians and Muslim have much in common (one splitted from the other) Chrisians and Atheists have virtually nothing in common.

Islam and Christianity get along just fine here in Toronto, the most multicultural city in the world (UN). There's all kinds of religions, races, cultures. It's just normal here. It's kinda weird even thinking about not living side by side at peace, like what, huh, what are you talking about. So yes, of course we can, and we do. It's just religion.

The Wahhabist faction of Islam will do anything to rid the world of Christians and Jews. This is the most dangerous religious sect in the world.
As long as there are Christians and Israel on planet earth, the hatred will brew from this sect.
Sorry, I can't see peace coming until the seven year pact ny the man of lawlessness mentioned in the Bible.

Individual Christians and individual Muslims can easily become intimate friends, sacrifying everything for each other. But for large communities, it may take a longer time due to differences of culture, organization, practice...
I can say this because I have many wonderful Christian and Muslim friends. They are all lovely and respectable by their practice of the sacred verses in the Quran and the Bible..

Never, Islam is more of a governmental system than a religion. They would love to wipe out all Christians and Jews. They want to conqueor the world and force everyone to become Muslim. There is no way both can ever live in peace together.

YES, it is possible but highly unlikely.
however the antichrist seems to be a figure the world will unite under as a symbol of peace and He may indeed get the world to throw down instruments of war for a short period of time.
But it is all for the sake of causing the entire world to bow down to an idol, and commit a very serious Sin.
Such a sin can only be Corrected by the divine intervention of the MESSIAH. despite the whole world committing blasphemy on a daily basis in the name of their god(s).

Oh, most certainly. Based upon the quotes below, the Muslims are looking to make nice to Christians.
(NOT)
Qur'an 5:14 "From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We made a covenant, but they forgot and abandoned a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, stirred up enmity and hatred among them to the Day of Doom. Soon will Allah show them the handiwork they have done."
Qur'an 5:17 "Verily they are disbelievers and infidels who say, ‘The Messiah, son of Mary, is God.'"
Qur'an 5:51 "Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends. They are but friends and protectors to each other."
Qur'an 5:17 "...Say (Muhammad): ‘Who then has the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ, the Messiah, the son of Mary, his mother, and everyone else on earth?"
Qur'an 5:75 "The Messiah, Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had to eat their food. See how Allah does make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded!"
Qur'an 4:171 "O People of the Book! Do not exaggerate in your religion; nor speak lies of Allah. The Messiah, Christ Jesus, the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not ‘Trinity.' Cease and Desist: (it is) better for you: for Allah is one Ilah (God). (Far it is removed from him of) having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. The Messiah is proud to be a slave of Allah, as are the angels, those nearest. Those who disdain His worship and are arrogant. He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer)…. He will punish with a painful doom; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or save them."

You forget that Muslims and Christians have lived peacefully for over a thousand years! All the Christians who resided in the Islamic Empire were permitted to practice Christianity, and we had a covenant of protection with them. Only fundamentals and extremists on other side cause problems, the MAJORITY of both Religions are Moderates.
[022:069] "God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein you used to differ."
[022:070] Know you not that God knows all that is in the heaven and on the earth? Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz). Verily, that is easy for God.

That ought to be left up to Christians and Muslims.... but I'm afraid that UN peace-keepers may need to be called upon if they can't work it all out bloodlessly.
You may recall how thoughtlessly the Pope screwed up just a few months ago. It's a potential powder keg, isn't it?
