Influenced into the Marines at school, give me your story ASAP please!!!?

Question

I am in debate and I need a story about how a person was influenced into the armed forces or marines at school by other marines. Most likely a marine came to your school to tell you about them. If you had any such link such as this, please give it to me ASAP. The best related story to my question will get BEST ANSWER!!!

I watched the hippies protest against the war in Vietnam. It disgusted me. I quit high school and joined the Marine Corp. Sorry, but my decision was my own.

I was influenced by no one to enter the Marines. Most good Marine recruiters won't try and convince you of anything. They tell you this is how it is, this is what you will do, if you want it go get it. There is so muc oppurtunity in the Marine Corps. The Marines want people who know this is what they want to do and are 100% sure. As for me, i have wanted to be a marine my entire life, and now i'm getting the oppurtunity to serve with the best of the best, a United States Marine.

I don't have any stories all I can say is if you have to be influenced into the Marines it probably isn't for you.It is a privilege and an honor to serve your country.You only have one life what will you make of it.

We had a Marine vet come to our school, he was in Desert Storm and had both legs blown off. He is a member of the Vets against War too. He said that war only creates more problems, and solves none of them.

Please be careful, this is real life and death. Be sure you are ready for whats about happen. Talk to your parents, go to a vet hospital and check out the wounded, these are the guys that made it!
