Not that I know of, but there is a free download of Linux: http://ubuntu.com

I have heard that the windows registration system has already been hacked though. It has a time like the 30 day one in XP and you can slow the timer down so it nevr runs out.

However, using a hacked version of any operating system can be very dangerous. You wont have access to security updates and fixes, meaning that you will be more at risk.

There are warez sites claiming to have pirated versions, but there are a couple problems: 1. You might be getting a bunch of nasty malware along with it courtesy of the warez site, and 2. even if you install a pirated version you will NOT pass a Windows Genuine Advantage check. This means you can't perform any fixes/upgrades that require a download from Microsoft's site. Also, they have it set up so you can't use Aero with a pirated version. --See link below.

No, I don't believe so. However, there are skins and stuff to make your computer look like Windows Vista.

no supposedly microsoft came up with this technology that when u activate the product key when u install vista it is sent to microsoft so u cant pirate it.

They put billions and billions of dollars into that system i dont think it is going to be easy to hack.

Not legally. Actually, you CAN download it. You just can't get the code to unlock it so you can install it without paying for it.
