i feel that i am a true patriot if theres such a defintion. lately im of perfect physical shape and have no health problems other then the lack of 20/20 vision even though this can probally be changed with eye surgery. every branch wants me. education is very important to me however i live my life on faster pace then most people. im currently trainin to be an expert marksmen and am working on close quarter combat (martial arts). im an andrenaline junkee and will face any situation no matter how dangerous it is and not flinch. i am willing to fight until my death for this country. i have never quit anything that i have already started. i believe that i am willing to fight to my death for my country and will not admit failure. however i will find any possible way to get back to my unit if there is any possible way. education is extreemly important to me and i want and want the best possible one i can recieve. i realize the final choice all comes down to me but idk what branch is right

first take into acct. your eyesight. How bad is it, because some jobs in some branches still may not be open to you even with surgery. (waivers are possible in some however).
Physically I would say marines. However...... if you are wanting more of an educational opportunity, I would say Navy or Army.
The air force is also great for education, but with your marksmanship, combat arms etc..I would not recommend them necessarily. If you are an adrenaline junky then, something along the lines of 82nd airborne Army, Rangers, anything special ops.
I don't know what your educational interests are, but take that into acct. when you choose your MOS.
Also, the Navy has great educational opportunities, and several "adrenaline" rush type jobs. Some special ops, some not so much, but a lot of opportunities. But you have to like water, lol.
Sounds like to me, depending on the education you want and prefered MOS, you would be better suited for Army or Navy.
Hope that helps.

As an Infantryman in the Army I would say that you would be a good candidate for the Infantry. When you go to enlist MAKE them also put into your contract Airborne school, and Ranger school. After that maybe you can volunteer for Special Forces or Delta, you just have to make sure you have the heart for that one of those though. I won't lie training will be tough, but if you are as high speed as you say you are don't waste your talent on the Corps for the Army has a plethora of schools for the Infantry; Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Ranger, Sniper, Special Forces, Delta Force, Scuba, LRSLC (Long Range Surveillance Leaders Course), and the training is unbelievable and valuable.

First of all pick a branch of the military tell what your thinking about for a job. Then you need to take the ASVAB test to see what you quilify for and see what is available. Just because you take the test with a certain branch does not mean you have to work with them. You can change. Just tell them up front your plans.
Good luck I get shipped out Feb 22 07. My MOS is 37F psychological operations.
It may also help you by going to goarmy.com This site helps to answer alot of questions.

Well, one thing is for sure, you have a very high opinion of yourself. The first thing that you have done wrong is to present yourself as semi literate. It seems that you can't even be bothered to use the spell check feature on this web site. As a former operator, your lack of attention to detail would make me a little leary of you. You can be trained to overcome that though.
In all honesty, what you have accomplished in your mind hasn't got a heck of a lot to do with special operations. You will be retrained to operate according to doctrine, and then as you progress you will be allowed to become more independent, but your a long way from that point.
As far as your physical fitness, your marksmanship, and your martial arts, it's a start, but it's no where near what will be required of you.
That said. Give it a try. You have on average about a 20% chance or LESS of making it.

You have stated a good indication that you are a candidate for any of the military services, or the branches. But you have never said the most important factor: what you bring into a job in the service? What are you interested in? What are you good at? You soundl like you could qualify for any of hundreds of MOS (Military Occupation Specialties).
Do you have any special aptitudes? IQ ? Interests? Experience with any equipment or special skills? How is your education? Good with math? Computer skills? Mechanics? Electronics? Cars, trucks, planes, helicopters, boats, sailing, sports like skiing, skindiving, gliding, parachuting, navigating, medical training? civilian experience engineering, heavy equipment, warehousing, forklifts, cars, trucks, buses, with jobs like police, firefighting, oilrigs, forestry, park ranger, horsemanship (yeah, they are using them in Afghanistan right now ! ) What other unusual skills would you bring to the service?
Check with any recriuter if you want. They have a list of MOS and lists of those the services are actively looking for .

I think it is good that you have such a positive attitude. Any branch of the Military would be glad to have you. All the training you have in civilian life is a plus, but the military will train you their way, which is even more beneficial to you. Talk to each branch of the military before you make a decision, you will find out which one is better for you, and what you want to accomplish while in the military.

USMC Scout / Sniper. Spec ops wouldn't be bad for you, but no other group in the world obsesses with a combination of marksmanship, physical conditioning, mental discipline, and an iron will like scout snipers. You have to be willing to stalk another human being. 1 shot 1 kill is the game. You could use your skills in other USMC units like force recon, special ops, special forces.

Spec Ops. Recon, Delta, and the like. Maybe even Coast Guard rescue swimmer. Its better to save a life than take one, I know. Choice is yours, and remember, a soldiers job is Not to die for his country, its to make the other guy die for his! Semper Fi!
