Despite the views of most Christians, there must be a space of time between the time that you die and the time that you are resurrected. Initially, after you die there will be some sort of preliminary judgment to decide who has had a testimony of Christ in this life and who has not. Those who have will be admitted into spirit paradise, where we will all rest from our labors. The nature of the other end is not quite so clear, but spirit prison is quite the contrast to paradise. These notions of paradise and prison are what most Christians refer to as "Heaven" and "Hell".
After this period will come the first Resurrection, in which all of the righteous will be reunited with their bodies, and the much prophesied millennium. During this time, Christ will reign personally on the earth and there will be gospel peace continually. After this time, the wicked will be resurrected and we will all be judged according to our works, no matter what they may be.
I hope that my testimony has given you some small insight into what occurs after death.

If my cat asked another cat what will happen when we take her to the vet, could that other cat tell her? Of course not. A cat can't comprehend what a car is, or a road, and certainly not who the vet is and what the greater purpose is for her being there.
Assuming there IS an afterlife, I suspect that what lies beyond this life is equally incomprehensible to us at our present level of functioning. Don't worry. You'll find out for sure one day, as will we all. In the meantime I'd say concentrate on enjoying the life you know you have!

Im sO tempted to say 'die and see" but that would be simply wrong. I dont get it tho. Do you mean what will happen to YOU when you die or what will happen to ...the world...the people that love you orr... BUT they say you see a light at the end of the tunnel and you are judged by GOD and you see all your life in front of you. Personally Im not too keen to find out anytime soon. :)

You will go to a holding place and wait until judgment day to be judged by Jesus or your spirit will wander the earth and wait for same.

You'll be buried or cremated. People will miss you. They'll carry the little bits that they learned from you and pass it on to everyone that comes after them. Sometimes, people will think deeply about what you brought them. The bad memories will fade. The wonderful memories will live forever.

The bible says " it is given to each to live and die once, then you go before the Lord.
To die for the Lord is gain, but to live is after the flesh.

Either there will be the experience of non existence or there will be a continuation of existence in some unknown manner. But what is non existence? And what is existence?

"We are appointed once to die, after this comes judgment"
You will be judged according to the gospel of Jesus.
If you have followed his teachings you will go to paradise/heaven right away.
Jesus told the man on the cross next to him, 'Today you will be with me in paradise"
If you are not saved by Jesus and his gospel you have chosen not to be with God and you will go to hell and await the final judgement.
God loves you and wants you in heaven with him. you can't earn this, you can't be good enough, "All sin and fall short of the glory of God"
Only through God's rich grace through his son who took on your sins can you have hope.

Things will happen. Some of the things are observable. Some are by faith.
Observable: your PHYSICAL being will begin to deteriorate.
By faith: your SPIRITUAL being will go as it will.
