I'm pretty shy and I can never start a good conversation with anyone without making a fool of myself. So,I know it's a weird question, but how do you start a really on going, deep conversation with someone?

Thanks =)

The secret of being a good conversationalist is to be a good listener and to know that what people like talking about most is themselves. You could start by making a general comment about something you've noticed, the weather, the latest news item and then ask them what they think, how they are affected, etc. Different people develop their own techniques in keeping with their particular personalities. Ask them if they know where the closest Starbucks is. It works everytime.
