I chose Christianity because I believe that Jesus is 100% true God and 100% true man at the same time and that Jesus died for our sins for the salvation of the world but then raised himself up from the dead and ascended into Heaven.
I believe this because I believe that His words in the Bible are the truth. And the fact that many the early Christians who witnessed Jesus were willing to die rather than to deny Jesus as their Lord and Savior is a strong testimony to their witness of Jesus as God of all creation.
I chose the Catholic Church because I believe it's the only Church that was founded by Jesus. From the beginning, there was only one true universal, apostolic Church, the Catholic Church. The word "catholic" means "universal". Jesus told the apostles to preach the gospel to all the world.
The Catholic Church fulfilled this mission and is the only Church to always teach "one Lord, one faith, one Baptism" (Eph 4:5) consistently since the time of Jesus. The Catholic Church is universally united and universally in every part of the world with the Pope as a sign of our unity.
That's why the true universal and apostolic Church is the Catholic Church.

Because Christianity has changed me, and no other religion has.
Also preaching and teaching groups of people, I find that only Christians can testify to how religion has changed their lives.
He has helped them overcome things that they could not overcome themselves.
I have no seen another religion do that like Christianity has done.

Tradition. All my ancestors for as long as I can trace back have been parishoners of Christianity, well except for some relatives that practice Santeria... so I guess some ancestors practiced Tribal African Religion too.
Well, it's what I was raised with and so I'm most comfortable with it.

Simple. If you were born in buddhist Thailand, to a devoted buddhist family, would you be a Christian? Not likely.
The answer is you believe what you are taught. BTW, that is good, very good.

What else do you have to offer? Jesus tells me if I believe in Him I will join Him in paradise when I leave this earth.
No other religion offers me anything close, or offers me the support and fellowship I have now while I am on this earth.

Because I want to be with God forever. And the Bible tells me that Jesus is the way. Without the gift of Jesus I would not know when I have done enough. I am saved by mercy. And when I am saved, I want to do good to others. : )

Christianity chose me.
It really wasn't a matter of choice it was a matter of seeing my need for a savior. & knowing that:
Jesus is the only way of salvation = Jesus is the only way to heaven
