I know it sounds weird and I know that I'm not pregnant. I just feel like my body needs them. I don't ever want them cooked. Is there something that they have in them that my body may be needing that I could supplement with vitamins?? Please no rude comments.

All I crave is the potatoes, and sometimes cucumbers. I always feel like, wow, why did I eat that afterwards. It only started after I started drinking nothing but water, when I used to drink alot of tea. Do you think this is related?

This could be a potassium deficiency, or possibly a lack of vitamin C which the raw skins have in abundance. Cooking the potatoes breaks down some of the natural sugars and starches in the potatoes as well, which may mean that you are simply craving starchy foods. You may not be getting enough energy from whatever it is you are eating normally.

Maybe you just like raw potatoes. A craving doesn't necessarily mean you are "lacking" something. There isn't always some hidden meaning when you do something out of the ordinary.

You may need the extra potassium or just a carb fix. I love the cold, crunchy taste of raw potatoes and a little salt makes it great!
