The symbol ">" means "greater than." Yes, I will assume at least one person here (maybe someone really young) hasn't learned what ">" means.

Personally, I do think Darwin has done more than Jesus. Jesus is simply accredited to things that are not verifiable such as saving our souls and blah blah blah. On the other hand, Darwin gave us the mechanisms that our species had to go through to get us to our current state. Also Dawkins has given us more than the pope. Pope Benedict XVI and his minions have only bought red Prada shoes and told people in Africa that condoms are a sin. On the other hand, Dawkins has been a leader in public education for many years, and he has contributed libraries worth of knowledge to the field of Zoology and Biology. Therefore, to me, Darwin is > Jesus and Dawkins is > Pope Benedict XVI.

bxixxxv (I hope I got that right): What I meant by that phrase is not literally giving the mechanisms but giving us the knowledge of their existance and the way they worked.

I am sorry I do not know Richard Dawkins. It is unfortunate that he called the Pope "stupid" because that does not help him make his point. Politeness brings us far, and the opposite is as true. I do not feel that Pope John Paul II had a brain or a heart. Here, where I live, I saw two convents of nuns dismantled and the nuns thrown on the streets while he was a Pope. For me this is cruel, cold, heartless, and indignant. However, I must admit that I am not in the confidence of what is going on in the politics of Vatican City: not brilliant, I am sure. Not radiating love, compassion, nor the Spirit of Jesus-Christ, that is for sure. This is my opinion. I do not want to hurt anyone. I hope everyone understands that as a Catholic I felt betrayed.

Um... Darwin did not "give our species the mechanisms that our species had to go through to get us to our current state.". He didn't "create" or "cause" mutations in deoxyribonucleic acid. He just discovered the possible mechanism.

Understand that evolution is still undergoing testing... many scientists are modifying the theory, some are abandoning it altogether.

But thank you so much for your oppinion. It means absolutely nothing. :)

Darwin did nothing but share a dumb theory that isnt even proven to this day. Jesus however offers something nothing else does>eternal life.
