I like this guy and i know he likes me but i dont know if i should go out with him becasue i am afraid of what my friends will say...i cant help who i like...help plz i dont know if i should ignore my feelings or just go with them and go out with him

If I were you, I would listen to my friends' objections and decide whether they had valid concerns (he won't treat you well, he just wants to get you to sleep with him and then will break up with you, you would be a rebound girl, etc.) or concerns that should not matter (he's not cool enough, doesn't dress well enough, etc.).
If they have valid concerns that they can support (not just "I have a feeling" crap), then you should at least CONSIDER what they say in your final decision. Just because you like somebody doesn't automatically make them a suitable match for you. If your friends have your best interests at heart, it's worth at least listening to them.

I would love to get more info, seeing as I can't tell if your friends don't like him, or they just don't think you mesh well. Assuming they hate him and don't want you to date him because of it, there are only two really important things to say:
*If he isn't someone you could see yourself marrying, then don't bother. Pissing your friends off just to date a guy that might just be bad news is a big no-no. How much do you value your friends to this guy?
*Usually, when no one likes him, there's usually a good reason, and you should stay away anyway. If your friends think he's bad news, and you just can't see it, then you are avoiding a lot of turmoil. If he isn't really bad, then you will still have to cope with the added stress of your friends not supporting your relationship, which could doom it anyway.
Trust your friends, lose the guy. Good Luck

Only you can know who you like and who's right for you. Don't let your friends tell you who you are or who you should go out with. You are your own person. Are all of your life decisions going to be based on what your friends think? If so, seriously reconsider.

If you like him, go for it. Don't miss the chance to get to know him or you'll always wonder "what if".Your true friends will still be there in the end if you get together with this guy or not. Follow your heart.

While a friend's opinion is good, in the end it all boils down to what you think---if your friends don't accept that you like this person, then are they really friends? They don't have to be happy with it, but they should at least support you. Honestly, if you like the guy go with him.
Although you might to want to at least consider their concerns, y'know, just in case they have a point. If they don't, then yeah, go with him. EXPRESS YOUR WUV.....

Try to analyze first what makes you like him so much. Your friends might have seen something which you can't see when you're falling head over heel to a person. It happened to me and I regretted not listening to them because I finally realize they are right. Try also using your brain and not all your heart: the reason God created it higher than our seat of emotion.

See, i've been in this situation before. I say go for it. Your friends should be there for you no matter what. Its your life and if he ends up not being the one, atleast you took the chance and found out instead of not going for it. Best wishes =)

just ignore your friends if you like him and he likes you then go for it!!! it doesn't matter what your friends think as long as your happy with who you are with!! the last guy that i went out with had well kinda big ears. a lot of people were like ewww you want to go ou twith him!! but i did and i was happy. my friends got used to it and everyone was happy. =] see in the end, when you say yes everyone gets used to it and they no longer care. as long as your happy then you should. wekk i hope you figure out the answer!! =]

Follow your heart, and don't let your friends run your life. Be a leader, not a follower. Your friends don't own you, and you don't have to follow their instructions. Watch the movie Valley Girl and you'll feel better.

So do your friends wipe your butt for you? Do they tell you what to eat and drink? Do they tell you when to go to bed and when to get up? Do they pay your bills? What does it matter WHAT they say? If they end their friendship with YOU just because of this guy they weren't REALLY your friends to begin with. Are you plannin on living your entire life according to what you friends say?
