Want to calm the frizzies or straighten your curls for a day? All you need is a round brush, a blow dryer, some hair products and about 30 minutes.
Instructions
STEP 1: To straighten hair, begin by shampooing, conditioning and towel-drying hair.
STEP 2: Apply a heat protectant product to your hair, paying special attention to the ends.
STEP 3: Place a quarter-size dollop of straightening balm in your palm. Rub your palms together to distribute the product over your hands, then massage it evenly through hair.
STEP 4: Comb through your hair with your fingers while gently blow-drying it on a low setting. This removes excess water.
STEP 5: Pull your hair into three sections, two at the sides and one at the back. Clip the two sides up.
STEP 6: Select a small portion of the hair from the unclipped section to straighten.
STEP 7: Using a thick, round brush and beginning at the roots, gently pull the brush through the hair to the ends while blow-drying it. Pull the hair away from your head, stretching and straightening it as you go.
STEP 8: First pull the brush through the underside of your hair so that you expose it directly to the heat of the dryer. Once that area is mostly dry, switch to the top of the hair.
STEP 9: Keep the tension consistent and evenly distribute heat over the section of hair you're working on. This ensures uniform hair texture and prevents overdrying of certain areas.
STEP 10: Once that portion of hair is straightened, continue selecting and blow-drying small portions until that section is dry and straight.
STEP 11: Repeat the process on the two other sections to straighten your entire head of hair. Tips & Warnings
Always point the dryer down as you blow-dry hair; blowing hair upward can cause frizzies.
OTHER STUFF:
Tame flyaway hair with an antifrizz serum or pomade. Place a few drops in your hand, rub gently to distribute it, then apply it your hair according to the product instructions.
To achieve flat hair, finish styling with a ceramic flat-iron designed for hair after following the steps above. Choose the heat setting for your hair type, and allow flat-iron to warm before using. Select portions of hair, as per blow-drying directions, and slide heated flat-iron along hair, beginning close to the roots and going past the ends of hair, repeating if needed to fully flatten hair.

it depends on if you want it straight or curly. either way its best to wait until your hair drys a little before you begin. its not healthy to blow dry if your hair is sopping wet. for curly hair there is a special diffuser (i think thats what its called) attachment and you scrunch your hair a little and hold it over the attachment to dry it. to blow dry your hair straight using a nice round brush works the best. just pull the brush through while you dry and dont hold the hair dryer in one place for too long. hope this helps. oh and one other thing try to dry the back and underneath your hair at the same time as the front so the front does not get overdry. good luck!

This is just a suggestion because I blow dry my hair this way and it gives it volume and also makes it straight (eliminates straightening practically).
I like to bend over and flip my hair over my head, so I blow dry from the inside of my hair to the outside. Basically when I bend over to blow try, I use a brush and blow dry it while brushing my hair in a straight and foward motion. When its all dried, I bend back up and do a flip where it adds volume and straightened hair.
I find that this way dries my hair in half the time and is more satisfying for me.

individually i dont blow dry my hair. i heard that blow drying your hair removes each and every of the moisture on your hair which makes it frizzy. additionally in case you straighten your hair whilst its moist, it could reason severe harm and make it weaker. i dont blow dry my hair in any respect; its undesirable and takes too long. i merely positioned my hair in a bun, then whilst i bypass to mattress, i take it down.

put some v05 heat protection mist on it and then if you want ur curls to stay then rub some moose or gel in your hair then turn your head upside down and blowdry it on med. so it gives it bounce and volume. if you blow dry it too close your hair will fly everywhere and it will be a big tangeled mess
