If you are losing a lot of weight for no ascertainable reason (during winter!) you should see the doctor.

Like you weigh 120 and suddenly 10 lbs disappear, or anything greater than that. That would be good reason for a check out by doctor.

If you weigh 130 and lost 2--5, keep an eye on it. But don't worry yet.

Remember what you were eating and recommend it to those who need to lose.

If your in a diet regimen, then you should be happy coz it's working...Now if you're just eating a lot and loosing weight at the the same time, the good scenario would be is that you've done or doing something to boost your metabolism. The bad scenario would be Thyroid problem or Parasites...

If you are losing weight without trying and your eating habits or exercise habits havent changed you should see a doctor. You could have a thyroid condition called hypothyroidism.

Metabolism is working well. Your body is not retaining fat at this time. Stick with a sensible diet though or it may show later.
