So there is this guy that really likes me. He does exactly what he says hes going to do, like, i'll call you tonight, and he calls me, and when we do, do something he leaves me a message after the fact telling me he had a great time. but he makes racial comments, doesn't like the same music, and he calls himself a redneck, which is completely opposite from me. He does make me laught but..... Then there is this other guy. He seems really sweet, i haven't spent a lot of time with him, he lives farther away. like two hours, which isn't a big deal. I talk to him everyday online or the phone, but the doctor says he is sick. He has a problem with his spine and he won't live over 35 years old. and he has done pot.. but he has been asked to quit by his doctor, smoking and pot, which he has done. He is sort of like me, he's nice, shy, quiet, laid back. He brings out the kid in me, which i like. I'm not sure what one to choose. They both have cons, and pros. Which one will be the best person?

The first guy has also done pot, but doesn't do it anymore. But he does chew tobacco. [ew] but whatever. I don't smoke, do drugs, and or i don't approve... as long as they don't do it anymore. I just like The second one a bit better. but the first one is closer to my age and is taking me to a dance... IDK i need help. and quick seeing as i probably should make a decsion soon before saturday.

Well first of all I would like to start by telling you that you have basically answered your own question and you really don't need any one to give you the go ahead, we both know you have this one figured out. However you did ask so here is my reply,you said you have more feelings for the second one so that is the one you should go for. When someone has different beliefs than you especially morally or they take an ignorant racial position that you don't believe in it is bad news for a relationship. Not only that but when you date someone you are joined together in peoples opinions so he is racist people will now see you as the same. Also about the drugs PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE!!! that is not for anyone but them selves don't date someone expecting them to change for you because they won't!You need to date them excepting them for their faults or at least be able to live with them in case they never change. Last but not least miracles happen everyday and advances in science don't necessarily live your life for the future. Don't make your decisions based on what a doc. says. For one who says you will still be together, what if he lives past his odds and we never know what will happen to marrow. To me I'd rather spend one day in the arms of my true love and loose it knowing I found what most people never do, than spend
the rest of my life trying to find what I had and let go!

first of all i would let the first guy kno that u dont appreciate his racial comments. Explain to him that u have all kinds of friends and u dont like hearing that kind of stuff! and the redneck thing bothers me. its one thing to be outdoorsy and a hunter but to be redneck jus gives me the impression that he has a confederate flag on the back window of his truck. who cares if the other guy has a problem with his spine.... as long as u enjoy being with him then do it! and who hasnt tried pot ? well actually my husband hasnt . anyways live for the moment. if yur afraid of getting involved with the second guy cuz of the spine thing jus be friends with him. he may end up being the BEST friend u Ever have!

you just seem to be looking at pros and cons....everyone has pros and cons...the question makes you the happiest....which one has you rushing home so you can talk to them....which one has you thinking about them all day?.....when you answer that then you have your choice....if they are both the same then neither b/c you want someone that stands out againist everyone else....

pick whoever you feel more comfortable. doctors are not always right. look at the women that are told that they will never be able to bear children, yet they conceive later on.
