Spaghetti with Garlic, Parsley, and Pecorino: Saute several cloves of minced garlic in several tablespoons of olive oil. Add a handful of minced fresh parsley and a little crushed red pepper flakes and then toss with cooked spaghetti and some grated Pecorino cheese.
Fettuccine with Butter and Pine Nuts: Toast several tablespoons of nuts in a dry skillet. (You can use chopped walnuts rather than pine nuts, if you like.) When the nuts are fragrant, transfer them to a bowl. Melt at least half a stick of butter in the empty skillet. Toss with cooked fettuccine, toasted nuts, some grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, and pepper. Best with fresh pasta.
Linguine with Olives: Pit and chop a large handful of black and/or green olives. Combine with several tablespoons of olive oil, a little minced garlic, a pinch of hot red pepper flakes, and some minced fresh herbs. Toss the olive mixture with cooked pasta.
Spaghetti with Olive Oil, Lemon, and Garlic: Saute several cloves of minced garlic in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Add the grated zest from a lemon and toss with cooked pasta.
Spaghetti with Pancetta, Pecorino, and Pepper: Saute several slices of diced pancetta in a little olive oil until lightly crisped. Toss with cooked pasta, lots of freshly ground black pepper, and a half cup or more of grated Pecorino cheese. Reserve some cooking water to moisten the pasta, if necessary.
Fettuccine with Butter and Cream (Fettuccine Alfredo): Heat several tablespoons of butter and about half a cup of cream in a large skillet just until the cream starts to simmer. Add cooked fresh pasta to the skillet and then add plenty of grated Parmigiano-Reggiano. Cook over low heat for a minute, tossing until the sauce coats the noodles.
Spaghetti with Herbs: Saute a few minced garlic cloves in several tablespoons of olive oil. Add a tablespoon or two of minced mixed herbs (basil, parsley, thyme, mint, and so on) and toss with cooked pasta.
Penne with Ricotta and Peas: Saute a minced onion in several tablespoons of olive oil. Add a handful or two of frozen peas and cook just until warm. Thin a half cup or so of ricotta cheese to sauce consistency with some pasta cooking water. Combine the pea mixture, thinned ricotta, and several tablespoons of grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese with cooked pasta.
Linguine with Raw Tomatoes and Pesto: Chop several ripe tomatoes and combine with several tablespoons of pesto sauce. Toss with cooked pasta.
Penne with Tomatoes, Onion, and Butter: Saute a minced onion in a few tablespoons of melted butter. Add some chopped canned tomatoes and simmer until tender. Toss with cooked pasta and serve with grated cheese.

Here is a great recipe for homemade noodles, my family calls them dumplings. We just fix them plain, but you could add chicken or pork.
3 or 4 cups all-purpose flour
4 eggs
1 stick of melted butter (real butter) let it cool to at least room temperature
l tablespoon salt
Combine and mix all ingredients, divide into balls about 3 or 4 inches in diameter, roll on floured surface about 1/4 inch, cut into 1 inch strips, place in freezer for a couple of hours to harden, then break each strip into 2 inch squares and drop into 6 to 8 cups of boiling chicken broth (canned will do) to which you have added another stick of butter.
Don't let the broth stop boiling as you drop the noodles/dumplingings. When all the noodles/dumplings are in the broth, cover and continue cooking on low, covered, for about 20 to 30 minutes until noodles/dumplings are soft.
Thanksgiving and Christmas is not complete in my family if we don't have this delicacy! This recipe does take practice. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Another noodle dish my family likes is goulash.
Brown l lb. of ground chuck/round
Add one large chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
4 cups water or beef broth
Bring to a boil, add 1 3/4 cups elbow macaroni, turn heat to medium or low, cook until almost done, add two 4-oz cans tomato sauce and one can of ranch-style beans. About 5 to 10 more minutes and you will have a pasta dinner you can serve alone or with a nice green salad.
Another great use of pasta/noodles is Chicken Spaghetti. You can probably find a recipe for this on the internet.
Cooking is an art, and the more you cook, the better you become. Happy cooking!

PESTO!! You can spice up those boring, old noodles with pesto. It is a mix of olive oil, basil, salt and pepper, and Parmesan cheese. I absolutely LOVE pesto and you can find it in almost any grocery store. All you have to do is put a spoon full in a pot of noodles, mix, and enjoy! In fact, I want to go make some right now!

I don't always make a whole lot of noodle recipes I usually just buy pre-made noodles. One good brand of these pre-made noodles with spices is Lipton. They are really good and my favorite is Teriyaki

Spinach and Noodle Casserole Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 package (10 ounces) frozen leaf spinach, thawed and well drained
8 ounces wide noodles, cooked, drained
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup coarsely shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
2 cups part skim ricotta cheese or creamed cottage cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
dash nutmeg, fresh grated
PREPARATION:
Spread spinach over bottom of a buttered 11x7-inch baking pan. Cover spinach with the drained noodles. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk; add shredded and ricotta cheeses and seasonings. Blend well and pour over noodles.
Bake in a preheated 375° oven for about 35 to 45 minutes, or until set. Seerves 6 people.
ASIAN BEEF & NOODLES
1-1/4 pounds ground beef
2 packages (3 ounces each) Oriental-flavored ramen noodles, separated
2 cups frozen oriental vegetable mixture
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground ginger
3 tablespoons green onion, cut in 1" pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce
In skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes. Add garlic and onions after beef has been browning 5 minutes. Remove beef with slotted spoon; season with seasoning packet from noodles.
Place noodles in skillet. Add vegetable mixture, 2 cups water or beef broth, soy sauce, ginger and seasoning packet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer several minutes or until noodles are done.
Add beef to skillet once more, cook 1-2 additional minutes.
American Chop Suey Variation: Instead of ramen noodles and flavoring packet, substitute leftover or pre-cooked pasta and one beef bouillon cube. Omit ginger and soy sauce. Add one 8-12 oz can diced tomatoes, tomato soup, or tomato sauce to skillet after beef has browned; continue as above. Serve wth microwave-melted cheese, or sprinkle with grated parmesan.
Fast and Easy!
FRIED CABBAGE AND NOODLES
1 head of cabbage
1 box of elbow noodles
butter
Cut up head of cabbage and saute in butter in skillet. Reduce heat and continue to cook slowly. Meanwhile, in a large pot of salted boiling water, prepare 1 box of elbow macaroni according to package directions.
Once noodles are done and the cabbage is soft, drain the noodles and mix with the buttered cabbage.
Cover and let simmer on low for about 15 minutes.
This is a very old recipe that tastes fantastic. You can almost eat the whole thing yourself. Enjoy!!!

My one of favourite, easy pasta recipe can be made with these ingredients.
-pasta of your choice
-SPAM
-spaghetti sauce(tomato sauce)
Cook the pasta, mush the SPAM and mix it with warm spaghetti sauce. Don't put all of the SPAM in it, half is good.
