a patient had angioplasty done on him to remove 3 blockages. Due to pericardial effusion , blood filled in his heart which was removed by a syringe attached to a tube inserted in the heart by a needle next to the sternum and it was taken out after 6-7 days. Sero sanguinous fluid was taken out thru a syringe and reinserted via the wrist veins. the problem of bleeding stopped after a few days but at the point where the needle had been inserted in chest there has been continuous pain since the last 5 months. the sternum bones seeems swollen and the area has become red
doctors diagonosed a bone infection but the pain never goes and niether does tjhe swelling. no pain killer seems effective and ENDOCAP SR and INMECIN cause acute giddyness and naussea. dr. say taht the heart is ok but the ortho doctors are unable to diagonose anything concrete.
