who did florence nightingale marry?

She came from a well to do family, and was educated herself. She was the one that truly began nurse's notes (statistical analyses, connecting poor sanitation with cholera and dysentery), and took a job that sometimes became the responsability of criminals and lower class (what else were they good for, right?).

I admire her because she had a choice for having a more luxurious lifestyle, and chose instead to help the ill with the consciousness of God's laws. She reduced mortality rate in Barracks Hospital in Scutary, Turkey, from 42.7% to 2.2% in 6 months!
